Slated to open in March, the Grass Roots Kitchen is the newest restaurant from Dave Starkey's ERL Hospitality group that also operates favorites Tomatillo, Sweet Grass Grill, and Red Zebra.
The restaurant will feature with fresh-baked muffins, biscuits, salads, vegetarian sandwiches, and a lot more.
The philosophy behind the restaurant group is where the food they serve is grown and by whom? Along with where the meat is raised, was the animal treated humanely, were the farmers treated fairly, and more.
On their website, the group says they are passionate about food that is good for the soul, but also good for the planet.
Pretty soon, Tarrytown will be able to take a big bite of that passion with a visit to the Grass Roots Kitchen.
The restaurant is at 124 Wildey St, Tarrytown. An opening date has not been set. Check their website for updates.
